Villa "Roof of Nice" is family
property. We are a family from the North of Europe and
because of the pleasant mediterranean climate a decade ago we
were looking for a private villa in the sunny Cote d'Azur as
a secondary-residence. After visiting almost 100
properties we selected "Les Toits de Nice" because of its
perfect location; a big 40000 sq feet property very near the
centre of Nice with breathtaking views! After a
big renovation we started renting the villa in 2004. We are very
pleased that we have welcomed people from all over the world to our
property ! Please read the notes below we received from former

"Our family reunion at the villa was a TDF (to die for)
week (there were 13 of us). If nothing else, the pool and
terrace area which overlooked Nice and the sea helped create
this memorable time in our lives. From the immaculate,
comfortable, and very quiet bedrooms to the modern,
well-equipped kitchen to the very spacious living/dining
room we were totally satisfied; even as the heat outside
rose, the air conditioning and the lovely pool (which could
be lit at night) relaxed and refreshed us. The owners (Anita
and Joost Peeters) were beyond professional in their
attempts to make our stay pleasant and were within a phone
call away when we had questions. Their warmth and sincere
friendliness went beyond the typical agent/renter
requirement. We would highly recommend Villa-Roof-of-Nice to
anyone who wishes to rent a villa which is exactly as
pictured on the website and wants an experience TDF.

"We had a lovely two weeks in your villa. The view from
the villa is stunning, by day and night. We were a party of 16
plus several small children and the overall spaciousness of the
villa, together with the rooms all having private bath/shower rooms,
meant that we never felt crowded.
With several keen cooks in the party, we loved the kitchen which was
extremely well equipped and we had some memorable meals - our
maximum for dinner was 17 and how great to have a table big enough
to accommodate that.
We were also very impressed with the standard of cleanliness to
which we arrived."

to prepare the meal for the group for one evening during our stay, so we

"As party of seven we felt that we might “rattle” a bit but on the
contrary we found the house extremely comfortable and both spacious
and very user friendly. Undoubtedly the hub of the house became the
kitchen which is both extremely practical and also spacious enough
to allow for cooking and gossiping family gatherings. Although we
did not use the two outside rooms, the extensive garden became a
place for expeditions when lazing around the pool became too warm.

Myself and my family had a wonderful 2 week holiday at
Villa Roof of Nice in August 2009. We enjoyed days out
in Nice, Monaco and Cannes travelling by the very
convenient bus and train system. The bus stop was only a
few yards from the Villa and it dropped us at the
railway station.
We
also explored Eze and Cap Ferrat by car and would
recommend both.
Perhaps the most enjoyable days were those spent lazing
by the lovely pool and dining outside whilst taking in
the stunning views over Nice.
We
dined out at all three local restaurants and made daily
visits to the local bakery.
Grandparents, children and grandchildren all had a
wonderful time at the Villa and the memories will be
with us for many years.
We
would recommend the Villa without hesitation.

I can advise that we had a memorable holiday with 2 weeks of
glorious sunshine.
We found the villa exactly as we had hoped and used the
facilities to the full.
Obviously with the weather we spent most of the time
outside, and a large part of that in the pool ,which was
excellent.The views both day and night were spectacular and
have featured in several photographs.
The indoor facilities in the villa were first class with
plenty of room for us all ( and some to spare ! ).
My 3 year old grandson enjoyed feeding the fish from time to
time and was fascinated by the evening frog chorus which we
quickly got used too.
The location was easy to find from the good directions you
gave with relatively quick access to the seafront.
We had an unbelievable time at the Grand Prix over the
middle weekend and spent some time visiting other places
along the coast, getting as far along as Port Grimaud.
So, in summary we had a superb holiday and I would
thoroughly reccommend the villa to anyone who was
considering renting it.

I would again like to thank you for the use of your
villa in Nice. The house was wonderful, the size
and spaciousness of the building and grounds were
even more than we had hoped for, and the views (both
day and night) were spectacular! The house
accomodated all 10 adults and additional children
with room to spare. The children used the pool
enthusiastically every day, and we prepared and ate
our evening meal together every night we were
there.
Everything about the villa exceeded our
expectations. Maryse was extremely helpful and
accomodating. The location in the hills above Nice,
as I said, was spectacular, and provided us with a
perfect base for our travels each day up and down
the coast of the Riviera. I would not hesitate to
stay there again, and I would strongly reccommended
your villa to anyone who is thinking about a holiday
in Nice or the Cote d'Azur.
